Introduction of Rotary Cutting Machine

Through years of technical accumulation, the VEICHI CNC integrated machine provides systematic solutions, which greatly improves the processing quality and precision, production efficiency, and ease of operation of the integrated machine.

System introduction

VEICHI rotary cutting machine system uses VEICHI high-performance PLC (V5 motion controller) as the controller, and single and double rolls use VEICHI AC300 general-purpose inverters. The feed is selected from the dedicated AC310 frequency converter for the VEICHI rotary cutting machine or the special servo driver for the SD700 rotary cutting machine. The cutter selects SD700 servo driver and is also equipped with a remote monitoring and management system of VEICHI IOT.

The system adopts a modular design. The system can be composed of single and double roller inverter + feed inverter + touch screen, or it can be composed of single and double roller inverter + feed servo + touch screen. It can also be composed of a V5 motion controller + cutter servo + feed frequency converter (servo) + single and double roller frequency converter + touch screen. Among them, the single and double roller inverters can choose other series inverters of VEICHI, and the remote monitoring and management system of the IOT can be used with the above systems. It can be split and combined according to the specific mechanical conditions without affecting the operation of the entire system.

2. Scheme realization

  • VEICHI high-performance motion controller V5-MC104 is used as the upper control to control the speed or position of the single and double roll inverter/feed servo (inverter)/cutting servo through RS485 communication.
  • The system uploads the parameter information and fault information of the inverter or servo to the VEICHI IOT remote monitoring and management system through the V5 motion controller.
  • The touch screen performs real-time data transmission with the V5 motion controller through 422 communication.

2. Simple operation and high processing accuracy

  • The special servo function for rotary cutting feed makes the feed position curve fit the rotary cutting model and reduces the thickness error of the rotary cutting.

  • The speed of single and double rollers is reduced in advance to reduce the impact force of the machine and increase the service life of the machine.

3. Special electronic cam control for fixed-length cutting, the cutting speed of the cutting knife and the veneer are the same in the cutting process, the cutting resistance is minimal, the rubber roller is minimally worn, and the cutting precision is high without complicated debugging.

4. Realize the standard tailboard function without self-inspection, the width of the tailboard can be adjusted directly, the error is within 1 cm.

5. Remote parameter changes and system status monitoring can be realized through mobile phones, without frequent on-site service.

6. It can switch between two cutting widths during the rotary cutting process, and the cutter rotates continuously without excessive width.

7. The high-precision and low-inertia spindle servo motor further improves the precision of the rotary cutting.
